Beginner

In this class the student will start at the very beginning with the alphabet. In English, there are 26 letters but over 70 different sounds that those letters make. We will begin the journey of learning English with your student with the foundation of those sounds being laid. With every sound they learn they will learn several vocabulary words, thus slowly building their vocabulary.

Over the year-long program your student will be able to understand the commands given by the teacher in English, be able to respond in full sentences and be able to describe over 300 pictures in descriptive sentences.

This course is valuable to your young learner because they are developing their language skills at a young age, and the earlier they practice speaking with our team they will have less trouble hearing, repeating and pronouncing correctly the English words.

Intermediate

With ELC Nova your student, who already knows the foundation of the English alphabet and the phonograms that the alphabet make, can advance to the level of reading and writing assignments.

We will focus on a lot of vocabulary in this class so that their speaking can advance.

Advanced

Our team continues to build on the foundation already learned in the other levels of English. We give the student ample opportunity to practice much conversation. We have topics each block that we will concentrate on in order to build your learners vocabulary to more advance words. We also focus on fixing minor grammatical mistakes in their speaking, and writing in order to fine-tune their language skill. We will develop the use of descriptive words and the correct order to use them.

Our classes are small so each student can practice creative speaking and conversations. Your student will have opportunities to share in full sentences and paragraphs on topics given. They will also be given reading and writing assignments that will build their understanding on how to properly express themselves in English.

Most students at this level are able, by the end of the course, to have clear simple conversations with English Speakers. We require some writing and reading in this class, but most of our work is based on speaking and conversation as we have found that this is the most problematic area for learners.
